This dreamy blue merle tri girl is sunshine wrapped in fur. From the moment she stepped into the testing area, Sun explored with a wagging tail and gentle curiosity — taking in her surroundings before trotting over, crawling into my lap, and flopping over for a belly rub, and that’s where she would’ve stayed all day if I let her.
Sun is incredibly sweet, soft, and not pushy at all. She’s playful and loves her toys, but she’s also a total cuddle bug who’s happiest with her head on your leg and your hand on her belly.
She did startle with the umbrella, as most puppies do, but with a brave heart, she approached it tail-up, ready to move on. That’s who she is — soft but steady, a little cautious at first but deeply loving and warms up.

Meet Freya
This gorgeous sable merle tri girl is as special as her name. Freya has a sweet, thoughtful presence paired with a playful spirit. During temperament testing, she showed a lovely balance of confidence and curiosity — approaching new things with a quick pause and then a brave little bounce forward.
She was one of the first to investigate the open umbrella and she handled everything with sweetness and grace. Freya is soft with people, steady with handling, and full of affection. She is our very playful and outgoing girl and will be up for adventure before a movie night complete with cuddles and popcorn.
We think she’d thrive in just about any family — but especially one with kiddos up for adventures. She’s the kind of girl who’ll match your pace, love your people, and charms everyone she meets.

Meet Tiu
Tiu (pronounced “tyoo”) is one of those puppies that makes you stop and smile. This stunning sable boy is as confident as he is cuddly — playful, people-oriented, and absolutely obsessed with belly rubs. He trotted through his temperament testing with his tail high and his heart open.

Zosia (Zoey), our beautiful mini F1b Bernedoodle, was bred to a sweet multigen Miniature Bernedoodle, Cinnamon for amazing Miniature Multigen Bernedoodles. Zoey is such a sweet sweet girl and is the worlds biggest snuggler. Cinnamon has the most incredible temperament, confident, easy going, and loves everyone.
Puppies will be mini size Bernedoodles in the 25-35 lb range. Puppies were born April 23rd and ready to go home June 18th! We have spots available!
Energy Level
Bernedoodles have a moderate energy level and enjoy a balance of play and rest. While they’re happy to join you on a walk or outdoor adventure, they’re also content with a quiet day at home. Compared to our Bordoodles, Bernedoodles tend to be a bit more laid-back.
They thrive in homes where they’re included in family life and get regular interaction with their people.
Training & Temperament
Thanks to their Poodle lineage, Bernedoodles are intelligent, eager to please, and generally easy to train. They thrive with positive reinforcement—think treats, praise, and a calm, consistent approach. Their sensitive, people-focused nature means they respond best to gentle guidance and a warm tone.
From house training to basic commands, Bernedoodles tend to pick up new routines quickly. They enjoy learning and benefit from mental stimulation like puzzle toys or simple trick training. One of the biggest benefits of the Bernedoodle mix is their health and longevity. While Bernese Mountain Dogs are known for shorter lifespans, Bernedoodles often enjoy longer, healthier lives thanks to hybrid vigor and our careful breeding practices.
Common Health Considerations:
While these are common health issues for Bernedoodles, Pacific Northwest Doodles does extensive health testing on all of our parent dogs to be sure we are breeding the healthiest dogs we can. Let us know if you have any questions about these.
Hip and Elbow Dysplasia – A concern in large breeds, managed with health testing and proper exercise.
Skin Sensitivities – Their coats can require extra care, especially during seasonal changes.

Grooming & Care
Bernedoodles are typically minimal to non-shedding, making them a great choice for families with allergies or those wanting a cleaner home. Their coats offer decent protection in cooler weather, but in extreme heat, it’s important to give them shade and breaks from the sun.
Their coats can range from wavy to curly and do best with:
Professional grooming every 6–8 weeks
Routine ear checks and nail trims
Regular brushing (2–3x per week)

Bernedoodles are incredibly adaptable and do well in both urban and rural homes. They love being part of the family and can easily adjust to apartment living as long as they get daily exercise and quality time with their people.
